SELLO MALINGA Sello Malinga is a self-taught successful businessman, co- inventor of an upper body mining safety costume; Spinetector vest, South African peace ambassador for global peace chain and social influencer. Sello scored big time in the popular tv reality show; Cell C Hangman which aired on etv , 2017 by bagging 8th place with his profound mining safety invention and being crowned SA’s top ten innovator. Apart from his innovative invention skills, Sello also boasts business acumen as the President and CEO at Discovery Technology Systems and Chairman at Underground Services Holdings (Pty) LTD. Sello has been actively involved in several scientific and business related projects since 2012. He also devised a portable water recycling system for rural areas. He is a former stakeholder at the South African Youth Water Prize and Eskom Expo. Sello is a graduate from the YTIP of the Technology Innovation Agency, he has participated /volunteered in various Technology Innovation Agency programs including the national science week which was held in Mpumalanga, 26-28 July 2018 and his work has been recognized and honored by the Former Chairperson of the National Planning Commission as well as the Minister in the Presidency of South Africa, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma in parliament during the year 2018.
TSHEPANG RAISIBE Tshepang , a hard working young man who is enthusiastic about inventions. At the age of 12 years he designed and created a moving car out of recycled materials and he was awarded the best project in Grade 5 by Alfred Stamper Primary School technology teacher. Later in 2012 Tshepang invented a water sensor tap to alleviate the water loss in public schools with the help of NWU Mechanical Engineering Faculty. Furthermore In 2013, he was selected to participate at the ESKOM EXPO SCIENCE FAIR where he created a water purification model to help rural areas with clean water. The purification model won local, provincial and International with BRONZE. Besides his role as the Director of Inno R Solutions; a company which developed a revolutionary mining safety costume; the Spinetector Safety Vest which has been designed to give added protection to vital organs of workers in underground mines and high risk construction projects, he is also volunteering at Kgorogo social investments as a monitoring & evaluation officer under the transforming lives program, and serving as the Dr kenneth kaunda district chairperson for men’s sector which is headed by sanac (South African National Aids Council).
